Midwest High Speed Rail System Presentation

The Hoosier Environmental Council is hosting a presentation which will highlight the proposed Chicago to Indianapolis to Cincinnati passenger rail route. If implemented, this fast and energy efficient transportation system will connect southeastern Indiana to major cities in the Midwest, including Minneapolis, Detroit, Cleveland, and St. Louis.

The presentation will include the economic and environmental benefits of the proposed high speed rail network, the amenities associated with the proposed passenger rail system, and where Indiana currently stands in the passenger rail planning process.

The presentation is free and open to the public.

For additional information about the presentation, please contact Emilie Pinkston at epinkston@hecweb.org.
